daughter. sister. friend. transracial adoptee.
mission:
To leverage my voice and my story in educating, equipping and empowering adoption agencies, as well as adoptive and prospective parents, to skillfully navigate the intricate journey of adoption.
about me:
Hi, I’m Ramya! I’m an international, transracial adoptee living in St. Louis, Missouri. I have found a passion in adoption education and advocacy work for adoption agencies and adoptive and prospective families.
Apart from my work in the adoption field, I work for the United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), where I am involved in the Refugee Medical Screening and Refugee Health Promotion programs. I have found it to be the most lifegiving and humbling work. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my friends and family and climbing mountains. As a true St. Louisan, I also enjoy watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues play.
I believe the best learning is through story.
